Welcome In 1971, eleven Berkeley High students and two leaders went off to the foothills of the Sierras to build an Earth Lodge modeled after those built by California Indians. Following sketchy guides, we remained idealistic and respectful of what came before. At the end of the day, there may be parallels between the authentic way... and the way we went at it.
